Electric Litany hat sich 2007 in London gegründet. "In their formative years the band occupied an abandoned town hall in East London. United by a affinity for post rock, synth pop and electronica, the four piece spent six months refining their sound before performing in underground venues across London."

Die Gruppe hat mit Interpol, The Prodigy, und Archive gespielt. Bisher erschienen sind die beiden Alben “How to be a child and win the war" (2010) und "Enduring days you will overcome" (2014). 2016 erscheint ihre “Winter EP”, die, wie auch schon das zweite Album, von dem echten Alan Parsons produziert wurde.
